Baby Shirley needed a full facial repaint, new pupils
and her original mohair wig was very sparse.
I added matching mohair pieces to her wig so she would
have a full wig, set her hair and She's beautiful again!
Sometimes it is more
important to satisfy the owner than to keep the doll "totally original"
especially when the owner is not pleased with the doll's appearance.
Schoenhut Doll I can also change the color of your doll's eyes
to a more "realistic" color.

Customer Margaret Howard
with her Fully Restored Baby Dimples.
Dimples was given to Margaret

Enjoy her, Margaret!

Decal Eye repainted on a
Schoenhut "Miss Dolly"
Below is an example of a
re-fabricated part:
A German Bisque doll was missing her left upper arm.
(Clicking on photo will provide full-size photograph for viewing detail)
I used plaster to make a mold of
her right upper arm, and then used
Sculp-Epox to cast her new arm.
I sanded and airbrushed the new arm...
Sanded and airbrushed arm looks
like the original antique finish of the doll
Finished Repair:
New left arm now matches the original
right wooden arm -- perfectly!
Below is an example of a total
restoration: This doll was in need of some serious
repair work. (Clicking on photo will provide full-size photograph for viewing
detail)

A Total Restoration/Repaint of a Rare Schoenhut Schnickel-Fritz.
The "Before"
pictures show the doll was previously repainted badly.
The "After" pictures
show my repaint to his entire body to resemble the patina and finish of
a well-loved doll of his era (1912).
NOTE: I also
restored his pinky fingers on both hands, and reconstructed some damage to
his face and ears.
He's beautiful again!
