* Dollmasters re-creates these lovely outfits from actual original antique clothing-rather than from patterns. * They search the archives and attics of Europe and America for antique doll costumes, study their construction, fabrics, and ornamentation, and copy the costumes exactly from those. * They use the very same fabrics that would have been used in 1870 or 1890 or 1920. Only pure fine cottons, silks and woolens are used for Dollmasters costumes, and only in the authentic colors of the era. * These are really wonderful outfits. I have used them on many of my dolls. They fit well and are made extremely well. I have included the size doll that the dresses will fit. |
